The project aims to research and develop a toolkit to engage policymakers on the importance of trust and incorporate trust-related concerns into decision-making and communication styles. The toolkit aims to raise awareness among policymakers about the importance of trust and provide practical tips for communicating with the public in a way that conveys trust and fosters collective resilience.

The project's novelty lies in studying politicians' trust in the citizenry and engaging with politicians regarding trust, which currently needs to be improved. The research agenda combines psychology, politics, and discourse analysis to explore the role of trust in policymaking.
